I specialize in helping my students cultivate compassionate mindfulness of both body and mind, dropping competition and expectation, and allowing for deep relaxation. I encourage my students to bring the awareness and insights they cultivate on their mats into their daily lives, bettering all aspects of life, from work to love to creativity to sex.
My approach is holistic, gentle, and welcoming. My specialty is working with beginners, elderly, larger-bodied students, or anyone who is otherwise uncomfortable, intimidated, or dissatisfied by conventional yoga studio environments. A lot of my students like coming to me simply because my classes have the mental and spiritual component that is missing from many studio classes.

If you’re looking for a way to blend yoga with quality time with a loved one, you can enjoy private hatha yoga classes with a partner or group of friends. I can tailor these shared classes to meet the specific needs of each individual, and I always adjust each pose for people who have different abilities. I can also incorporate partner-yoga poses for all levels.
Each private yoga class consists of:
~ A consultation and assessment before the program (phone, email, or in-person)
~ A check-in at the beginning of each class
~ A customized class, including cool-down and meditation
~ Email follow-up with the poses and practices we learned, so you can integrate them at home.
I have been practising yoga for twenty years and teaching since 2007. I completed my Yoga-Alliance certified 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Prana Yoga, in Vancouver. It was under the guidance of the Shakti.

5-session passes expire 10 weeks after date of purchase.
10-session passes 20 weeks after date of purchase.
Private Lessons Include:
- 15 min consultation about needs (nutrition to structural) via phone, email, or face to face
- 1 hour of private yoga practice – including meditation and pranayama training, if desired
